2021 CHILI COOK-OFF

Performing Arts Workshops - PAW INC. is partnering with Brandywine Community School's Choral & Band Department to bring you the inaugural 2021 Chili Cook-Off, benefitting both PAW INC. and the Brandywine Music Programs! Do you love to cook and make amazing chili? Is yours traditional or creative? Toss your hat in the ring and put your chili where your mouth is!

The 2021 Chili Cook-Off will be Sunday, December 12th at 11:00 AM, immediately before the 2021 Brandywine Choral and Band Holiday Concert. There will also be a bake sale with various baked goods available for purchase.

​The Brandywine 2021 Holiday Concert will begin immediately after at 2:00 PM.

ENTRY COST

CHILI COMPETITORS
Cost per Chili Competitor entry is $25 per chili.
COMMUNITY CHILI TASTERS
Cost per Chili Taster is $10 per person.

RULES FOR COMPETITORS

  • Arrive on December 12th at 9:45 AM with your Chili hot and ready
  • Chili must be made in a certified kitchen per local health department*
  • Bring your own table to set up and decorate
  • Bring your own 1 or 2 ounce ladle for serving chili
  • Bring your own clean up supplies
  • Bring and wear your own single use disposable gloves at all times
  • Maintain a chili heat of at least 165 F at all times per local health department
  • Submit at least five gallons of chili to compete
  • Be ready to serve your chili at 11:00 AM sharp​
*If you want to make chili, but do not have the space to do so, please reach out to Daysha for possible assistance

GUIDE FOR TASTERS

  • Arrive on December 12th at 11:00 AM with an empty belly
  • Check in at the Check in Table and receive your Chili Tasting Kit
  • You will have the option to taste 2 ounces of each chili entry
  • Once you've tasted all of the chilis, you will fill out your Community Chili Tasters form and cast your votes at the Check in Table
