WHAT TO EXPECT AT PAW MTE
In its eighth year running, PAW Musical Theatre Experience (MTE) is excited to share the stage once again. In this rigorously fun workshop, students rehearse and perform in a full musical in one singular week under the direction of theatre industry professionals. This includes learning and memorizing a full libretto and choreography, and having full costumes, lights, and sound. All students registered for this workshop will be in the production and an audition (dates TBA) will determine their role in the production.

PAW MTE GOALS
  • Learn how to dissect, study, and memorize a script at a summer stock-styled pace
  • Build professional relationships with industry professionals
  • Expand upon theatrical resumes
  • Learn how to collaborate as an artist through the lens of a musical theatre performer
  • Gain an aesthetic appreciation of rehearsal processes and what it takes to successfully rehearse and perform a piece of musical theatre

PAW MTE in 2020
In a year like no other, Performing Arts Workshops - PAW INC. had to quickly adapt our workshops to provide a safe arts experience for students throughout Southwestern Michigan and beyond. Due to the pandemic, PAW hosted workshops virtually for the summer. With the assistance of many talented staff members, the dedication of many incredible student artists, and an unwavering passion for the arts, together we persisted and created a PAW MTE like never before. Although we were unable to gather in person as we have in the past, we hold these virtual memories near and dear. Please enjoy our video production of PAW MTE PRESENTS: THE BIG ONE-OH.
